This page provides a non-exhaustive overview of the categories of product data and related service data generated through the use of the WITSEE Sensor and the WITSEE mobile application (“APP”).
This information is provided for transparency purposes and in connection with applicable data access and sharing obligations under Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (Data Act).
1. Product Data Generated by the Sensor
The WITSEE Sensor generates raw motion and orientation data through integrated accelerometer and gyroscope components during use.
Categories of Product Data

| Accelerometer Data | Linear acceleration measurements across one or more movement axes generated by the Sensor. |
| Gyroscope Data | Angular velocity and rotational movement measurements generated by the Sensor. |
| Timestamp Data | Time references associated with recorded sensor measurements and sessions. |
| Sensor Operational Data | Technical information necessary for recording, synchronising, transmitting, and processing sensor measurements. |
Characteristics of Product Data
Product data may:
- be generated continuously during active Sensor usage;
- be transmitted to the APP for processing and visualisation;
- include both real-time and stored measurements;
- contain or be associated with personal data depending on the manner of use.
2. Related Service Data Generated Through the APP
The APP processes product data generated by the Sensor and generates additional service-related outputs, analytics, visualisations, and operational information.
Categories of Related Service Data

| Account Interaction Data | Information relating to interactions within the APP and service usage activity. |
| APP Diagnostics and Telemetry | Technical and operational information relating to APP performance, stability, and functionality. |
| Synchronisation Metadata | Technical information associated with synchronisation between the Sensor, APP, and connected services. |
3. Metadata and Technical Information
The WITSEE ecosystem may also generate certain technical and operational metadata necessary for service delivery, maintenance, analytics, and security.
Categories of Metadata

| APP Technical Information | APP version, operating system information, crash diagnostics, and performance logs. |
| Connection Information | IP address, connection timestamps, and network-related technical information. |
| Interaction Data | Information relating to interactions with APP interfaces and functionalities. |
4. Excluded Data Categories
For clarity, the following categories are generally not considered “product data” or “related service data” for the purposes of this page unless explicitly stated otherwise:
- payment and billing information;
- newsletter subscription data;
- marketing preferences;
- customer support communications;
- social media interaction data;
- authentication credentials and passwords;
- unrelated device or third-party application data.
Such information may nevertheless constitute personal data and may be processed in accordance with the WITSEE Privacy Policy.
5. Data Protection and Personal Data
Certain product data or related service data may constitute personal data or may become associated with an identifiable individual when linked to an account or user profile.
Where product data or related service data contains personal data, such processing shall be carried out in accordance with:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR);
- applicable national data protection laws;
- the WITSEE Privacy Policy.
6. Updates to This Page
The categories described on this page are illustrative and non-exhaustive.
WITSEE may update this page from time to time to reflect:
- technical developments;
- new functionalities;
- changes to the Sensor or APP;
- regulatory requirements;
- service improvements.
Continued use of the Sensor or APP following such updates may result in the generation of additional categories of product data or related service data.
