In bowling training, we focus heavily on developing player versatility, and that requires a clear understanding of what happens in every throw. This sensor allows us to objectively measure key parameters like axis tilt and axis rotation – something that used to be time-consuming and often inaccurate. Now both coaches and players can clearly track changes and make decisions based on real data.

Have a question?
We want to make sure you are confident in our sensor, which is why we tried to answer most frequent questions, prepared tutorials and instructions.
Do I need to drill an additional hole for the Witsee sensor?
No additional drilling required. The Witsee sensor inserts into one of the two grip holes.
Does the Witsee bowling sensor require any special equipment to use?
No, you don’t need special equipment. All you need to use the sensor is your smartphone (iOS or Android) and a bowling ball.
What data does the bowling sensor track during a game?
The Witsee sensor measures and analyzes key bowling performance metrics such as RPM, axis tilt, axis rotation, loft, loft angle, swing height, and more. It also provides an accurate 3D visualization of your shot, allowing you to clearly see and understand your ball’s motion in a realistic 3D environment.
Does the sensor change the bowling ball’s weight, balance, or dynamics in any way?
No, it does not! The sensor weights 2.1 grams which makes it irrelevant to the ball weight. And because it is so small, you won’t feel it when it is inserted into the ball.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life depends on how frequently the sensor is used. However, based on our estimates, a single 3V CR1025 battery should last for over 5,000 throws under typical usage conditions.
Can the sensor eject during a throw?
As long as the sensor is correctly installed in the ball, the risk of it ejecting during a throw is extremely low.
Can multiple players use the bowling sensor at the same time for tracking stats?
The Witsee sensor is assigned to one user and one bowling ball at a time. However, switching balls in the app is quick and simple, and the sensor can also be unpaired from one account and paired with another whenever needed. Sharing between users is fully supported.
